INGREDIENTS to make Mutton Biryani Recipe :
Mutton 1 kg
Rice 1 kg
Oil 1 cup
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Green cardamom 5
Bay leaves 4
Salt 1 tbsp or (to taste)
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Cumin seeds powder 1 tsp
Garlic paste 1 tbsp
Ginger paste 1 tbsp
Green chili paste 1 tbsp
Ground spices 1.5 tbsp
Dried plum ¼ cup
Mutton broth 3.5 cups
Tomato puree 1.5 cup
Potatoes 7 small size
Green chilies ¼ cup
Green coriander leaves ½ cup
Fresh mint leaves ½ cup
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
FOR GARNISH:
Green coriander leaves ½ cup
Fresh mint leaves ½ cup
Fried onion
Green chilies 5-6
Food color (optional)

DIRECTIONS to make Mutton Biryani Recipe :
1. In a pressure cooker add 1 kg mutton, pressure cook for 15 minutes on medium flame.
2. In a pan heat 1 cup of oil add cumin seeds 1 tsp, green cardamom 5, bay leaves 2, saute for 1-2 minutes on medium flame.
3. Add boiled mutton cook for 5 minutes on medium flame.
4. Add Salt 1 tbsp or (to taste), Red chili powder 1 tbsp, Turmeric powder 1 tsp, Coriander powder 1 tsp, Cumin seeds powder 1 tsp, Garlic paste 1 tbsp, Ginger paste 1 tbsp, Green chili paste 1 tbsp, Ground spices 1.5 tbsp, Dried plum ¼ cup, mutton 1 cup.
5. Cover and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame.
6. Add tomato puree 1.5 cup, mutton broth 1 cup, and mix well.
7. Cover and cook for 20 minutes on medium flame.
8. Remove cover and cook on low flame add green chilies ¼ cup, Green coriander leaves ½ cup, Fresh mint leaves ½ cup, lemon juice 1 tbsp, mutton qorma is ready.
9. In a pan add half mutton qorma (1st layer), add half boiled rice layer.
10. Add remaining half mutton qorma (2nd layer), add remaining boiled rice layer.
11. Sprinkle Green coriander leaves ½ cup, Fresh mint leaves ½ cup, Fried onion, Green chilies 5-6,Food color (optional).
12. Steam cook for 10 minutes on low flame.
