INGREDIENTS to Marinate Fish for Machli Ka Salan ( Fish Curry)
Fish 1 KG
Salt ½ tsp
Turmeric Powder ½ tsp
Coriander Powder 1 tsp
Carom Powder ½ tsp
Lemon Juice 2 tbsp
INGREDIENTS to make Machli ka Salan Recipe:
Oil 1 ½ cup
Onion 4 to 5 large size
Tomatoes 5 to 6
Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder ½ tsp
Coriander Powder 1½ tbsp.
Fenugreek Seeds (Methi Dana) 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds (Rai Dana) 1 tsp
Ginger Paste 1 tbsp
Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Red Chili Flakes 1 tsp
Red Chili Powder ½ tbsp
DIRECTIONS to make Machli ka Salan Recipe:
1. Take fish (Slices) put in a bowl add salt to taste, turmeric powder ½tsp, coriander Powder 1 tsp, carom Powder ½ tsp, Lemon Juice 2 tbsp.
2. Mix well & refrigerate for 30 minutes.
3. Heat pan adds Oil 1 ½ cup, Onion 4 to 5 large size cook for 6 to 8 minutes on low flame.
4. Add tomatoes 5 to 6, Cumin Seeds 1 tsp, turmeric Powder ½ tsp, coriander Powder 1½ tbsp., fenugreek Seeds (Methi Dana) 1 tsp, mustard Seeds (Rai Dana) 1 tsp, ginger Paste 1 tbsp, garlic Paste 1 tbsp, salt to taste, red Chili Flakes 1 tsp red Chili Powder ½ tbsp.
5. Cover & cook for 5 minutes on low flame, remove the cover and mash tomato.
6. Add fish (Marinated) cover and cook again 5 to 6 minutes on low flame.
7. Remove cover stir & cover again to cook for 5 minutes on low flame.
8. Cover for 4 to 5 minutes on medium flame.
Tasty yummy and spicy Machli ka salan is ready to serve.
