Mairaz kitchen has made very special shahi tukray recipe in this video, so let’s check out the ingredients to make shahi tukda: INGREDIENTS to make Shahi Tukday: Bread 8 slices Oil/ghee 1 cup Sugar 2 cups Water 1- ½ cups Saffron (a pinch) Lemon juice 1 tbsp Milk 1 ltr Dry milk powder 3/ 4 cup Corn flour 2tbsp (mixed in water) Pistachios (for garnish) Directions to make Shahi Tukday: 1. Take 8 slices of bread and cut from the center to make a triangle shape. 2. Heat a pan add 1 cup of oil or ghee as you like to deep fry bread slices, and when the oil gets warm deep fry bread slice on medium flame till get golden brown and crispy. 3. Take another pan to add 2 cups of sugar and 1-1/2 of water mix well and cook for 5-10 minutes on medium flame. 4. Add a pinch of saffron and about 1 tbsp of lemon juice cook till sugar syrup get thick and sticky, and then keep sugar syrup (sheera) aside. 5. In a pan, add 1 ltr of milk and heat for 5-6 minutes stirring continuously, then add dry milk powder gradually and stir. 6. Add cornflour (mixed with water) and then add this cornstarch slowly in milk and stir continuously, cook well till getting thick in texture. 7. Now place deep-fried bread slice in a platter and pour sugar syrup on the slices and finally pour cooked milk on the slices shahi tukday is ready, garnish with pistachios and serve.
